Repair and Reconstruction

Whether you had a water damage, mold remediation, asbestos removal, or fire and smoke damage the goal of Restoration Aid is to help you return your property to pre-loss conditions as quickly as possible. Once the emergency work and necessary demolition has been completed, Restoration Aid will provide a scope of work for the repairs.

Our estimators will provide a written estimate using the insurance industry approved estimating program “Xactimate” and in some cases a “Time and Materials” estimate (T&M). The first step of any insurance repair project is to determine the scope of work and reach an understanding with the insurance provider and adjuster. Restoration Aid’s estimators are educated and experienced with the industry guidelines and liaise on your behalf to ensure of the necessary scope of work to restore your property will be approved.

Should the client wish to make any changes which are not covered by insurance, the estimator will review them, outline any additional costs, and time that may be required to complete the changes.  The silver lining of any unexpected property damage is that it provides a great opportunity to make additional changes to your property!

Depending on the level of damage caused by the flood, fire or smoke, or the level of demolition required for mold removal and asbestos abatement, repairs and reconstruction can vary from a simple drywall patching job to completely re-doing an entire property.
