Project Manager

 

Restoration Aid is hiring for the position of Project Manager. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the growth and expansion of our company.

 

We work with residential and commercial disaster restoration accounts and we specialize in water damage restoration and fire damage mitigation as well as mold remediation. We are an emergency response outfit and provide service 24/7. We are looking for a Project Manager who has experience in estimating and closing water, fire and mold remediation jobs as well as managing the projects.

 

 Job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Meet with customer and review the property, explaining what work will be performed and answer any questions that the customer may have about the process, provide an estimate and sell the job.

  • Maintain good communication with the customer throughout the project ensuring that all their needs are met.

  • Maintain active files for multiple projects.

  • Assess and prepare paper work using our Xactimate Estimating software.

  • Communicate with adjusters and agents regarding the estimate and collection of payments and serve as a primary liaison between the customer and insurance carrier.

  • Verify accurate measurements, diagrams, and photo documentations are collected according to specific insurance program requirements.

  • Lead a team of technicians to ensure that the job is completed per protocol by coordinating the daily schedule and monitoring job progress.

  • Perform water extraction and mold remediation as needed.

  • Ensure that all employees perform their job duties in a safe manner, following all company standard operating procedures and saftey regulation, and tha all reasonable precautions are taken to avoid work related accidents.

  • Facilitate the authoring of operations and safety protocols, and help implement and monitor those protocols.

  • Develop and maintain a business relationship with insurance adjusters and agents.

  • Respond to EMS jobs and “on call” duty.

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • 2+ years experience with reconstruction, construction, restoration, or similar work environment.

  • Certified in Water Damage Restoration.

  • Certified in Fire & Smoke Restoration a plus.

  • Certified in Applied Microbial Remediation a plus.

  • Construction experience is a plus.

  • Must be able to travel to worksite locations.

  • Must be able to work after hours.

  • Must be familiar with Windows and Microsoft Office software.

  • Must have a sense of urgency, problem solving and decision making.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be selling to customers as well as coordinating with other employees.

  • Experience in working with insurance companies a plus.

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and have a clean background/driving record with no felonies.

  • Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals including homeowners, property managers, and insurance agents.

  • Strong sense of ownership.

  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

  • Team player.
